Hello. My name is Anna Hillman. I am a free-lance photographer, environmentalist and urban explorer, seeking to promote awareness, enjoyment of and responsibility for our local environment and consequently our collective impact globally. I am based in London, UK.
I have undertaken photography commissions for Kent Wildlife Trust, Homerton Hospital NHS Trust, the Shoreditch Community Maternity Centre, and Tidemill School in Deptford, amongst others. Please check out these commissions on my photography website. I have also run photography workshops for children at the Natural History Museum, London, and for Kent Wildlife Trust.
In 2008, I won Environmentalist of the Year for my Amazingness project, in the Archant:London Environmental Awards.
I’ve always loved being outside, wandering about the city, not necessarily for the purpose of getting anywhere specific. I become wholly aware of my surroundings and my thoughts become free and alive.
I feel more connected, not only to the place where I am, but to the earth as a whole. And I’m constantly finding AMAZING things…
Welcome to Amazingness!
Love, Hope and Joy to all.
